The St. Johnsbury Players could not exist without you, the community! If you have a passion for theater, the Players have a place for you. There are many ways to get involved.
Audition
Players auditions are always open to the public. Information will be posted on our website and Facebook page about the casting requirements for upcoming shows.
Direct a Show
If you have a vision that you want to bring to life, the Players want to hear about it!
Help Out Behind the Scenes
If being on stage is not your cup of tea, consider joining a production team. Producers, stage managers, house managers, lighting and sound techs, grips, props managers, costumers, and set designers all work their behind-the-scenes magic to make theater possible.
Build a Set
Many hands make light work. Even if you can’t commit to a full rehearsal schedule, you can still help bring a show to life by showing up on load-in day to help build the set.
Attend a Show
When you buy a ticket for one of our shows, you’re helping to ensure that the Players can continue bringing the magic of live theater to our community. And ten percent of our profits from every show are added to the W. Clark Noyes Theater Arts Award.
Become a Member
Membership costs only $5 per year for individuals and $8 per year for families, and entitles you to discounted admission on every show. And members have the privilege of voting on matters concerning the group, including show selections. Dues are due September 1st and may be paid in person or mailed to PO Box 552, St. Johnsbury, VT, 05819.

Your generous support is always appreciated! If you wish, you may make a one-time or recurring donation via PayPal using the donation button below. If you do not have a PayPal account, donations may be mailed to PO Box 552, St. Johnsbury, VT, 05819.
When you make a one-time donation, you will be given the option to select how your donation will be used. If you do not specify how you would like your donation used, it will be allocated to the general fund or wherever there is the most need. (Recurring donations are always allocated to the general fund.) The options to choose from are:
- W. Clark Noyes Theater Arts Award Fund – The Theater Arts Award is given every year to a graduating high school senior who has demonstrated excellence in the theatrical arts. If you choose this option, your generous one-time contribution will go directly to the Award Fund.
- Show Expenses – There are many expenses involved with producing a show. If you choose this option, your generous one-time contribution will help us pay for production expenses like royalties, scripts, costumes, advertising, and sets.
- General Fund – In addition to the above, the Players have a number of operating expenses such as office supplies, postage, insurance, and maintaining our website. If you choose this option, or if you do not specify, your donation will be used wherever it is needed most.
